A meeting of the memorial committee of the tenth congressional district to raise funds for the erection of a McKinley memorial at Canton, 0., was held at Lafayette Tuesday. The organization is divided under congressional, county and township committees. L. H. Hamilton, of Rensse laer, represented Jasper county at the meeting, and Wm. Ade, of Kent land, represented Newton county, The work of the committee in the way of soliciting funds will begin at once. The postmasters’ organization of this distriot will co-operate with the congressional committee.
