The City Council.
The city council met in regular session Monday evening. But little business was transacted. The committee on light and water was authorized to renew the insurance on the city plant. The fire warden asked for the extension of the fire limits to include blocks 10,14 and 15. The matter was referred to the ordinance committee. D. E. Hollister, pumper at the water plant, asked the council to concur in an arrangement by which he could trade his job with Conrad Hildebrand for one at Babcock and Hopkins’ elevator. No action was taken. Claims to the amount of f 967.53 wore allowed.
