Craig Loses His Suit.
The suit of F. D. Craig, of Indianapolis, against the Empire theater, of that city, for SIOO damages because admission was denied him after he had tendered “good money of the United States,’’ was decided in favor of the theatrical men. The evidence showed that Craig and S priend named Bullock read an advertisement of the playhouse giving certain prices of admission and on tendering the lowest price named were tamed downed and were told ttoat it was the price to the matinee. They returned home and got the paper and again called at the theater, shoving the paper in the box office window and were again turned down. The ticket seller said they told him they would bring suit in the morning. One thing that added to their embarrassment was the guying of several small boys when tickets were refused and they thus missed “a good and meritorious play and entertainment, disappointing them in the enjoyment of the evening.
