Fortune for Lumberman.

A lumber jack, John Lequelnce, who has had headquarters at the head of the lakes for the last two years, has received formal notice of having fallen heir to 1,500,000 francs ($350,000), says a Duluth dispatch. The woodsman refuses to discuss the matter. But it is known that he has placed the claim iu the hands of an attorney to make the collection, through the French Consul at St. Paul, Minn.
