Notice of Hearing of Ditch petition. IN THE MATTER OF TIIE PETITION OF JACOB D. RICH ET AL.. Notice U hereby given that a petition hen been filed with the Auditor of Jaeper County, State of Indiana, and viewers have been appointed who have viewed and reported said view which is on file in my office. The hearing of said petition upon its merits will be had before the Board of Commissioners of Jasper County, State of Indiana, on Tuesday, the Sth day of November, 1901, the same being the second day of their November term, toot. The prayer of said petition is that a ditch be constructed on the following route,, to-wit: Beginning six hundred and fifty (650) feet west from the northeast comer of the southhalf of the southeast quarter of section seventeen (17) in township thirty (30) north, range six (6) west in said county, and running thence in a generally southeast direction to its outlet in the "Helves*’ Ditch at a point forty (4°) rods north and two-hundred-forty (240) feet east from the northwest comer of the east half of the northwextquarterof section twentyeight (a 8 in township thirty (30) north, range six (6) west in said county. This proposed work will affect the lands of the following persons: Andrew Arnold, Jacob Rich, Benjamin J. Gifford, Francis M. Lakin, Thomas J. Moore, Civil township of Barkley and Trustee of Civil township of Barkley, Francis M. Hays. Wm. C. BABCOCK, Oct. 8-15 Anditor of Jasper County.

Jones and Mrs. Jones, wife of said Lake F. Jones, whose first name is unknown; Lake F. Jones & Company; Mr. Reynolds, whose first name is unknown, and Mr. Beal, whose first name is unknown; but the said Reynolds and Beal are made parties defendants to this action as members of the firm of Lake F. Jones & Company, and that this action is brought to quiet title in plaintiff to his real estate, covered by a lease for oil, executed by him to said Lake F. Jones, and to have said lease canceled of record, are . not residents of the State of Indiana.
