Indiana “Monte Carlo."
The Long Bench Turf Exchange in Like county, has closed its doors. The L. S. &M. S. railroad, the only road passing the resort, luih discontinued its excursions to the resort, and us there was no other way for tite Chicago! gamblers to reach the Exchange each dav, the managers could do nothing else than close the place. It) is said that the action of the railroad will make it, unnecessary to take any further steps to close the gumhling resort. It is also claimed that had the railroad not discontinued running excursion trains to the place steps would have been taken to enjoin it as an accessory to a violation of the law.
