Society's Now Game—Siberian Whist.

The London Express says that Siberian whist seems to be causing a certain amount of interest among the votaries of bridge, but up to now is not much understood in England, although it Is very much In vogue at Constantinople and In Russia. It can be made a much more gambling game than bridge, as, although there Is no doubling, as In the former, the players can outbid each other in the making of trumps, and the consequent penalties on the losing of tricks may amount to as much as 6,000 points. Indeed, It !■» possible to lose as much with penny points at Siberian whist as at bridge with points at a shilling.
