A large building which has just been completed in Terre Haute and which was supposed to have been constructed as a warehouse for a cereal food concern, turns out to be the largest match factory in the world. The machinery has been received from Germany and agents will soon open offices in London and all the large cities in the United States. The capacity of the plant will be 150,000,000 matches a day. The capital stock, $150,000, is held by Terre. Haute people, B. G. Hudnut, the cereal food manufacturer, being president, and Chas. Gregg, of Crawfordsville, manager. All kinds of matches and toothpicks will be made. The factory will be anti-trust and will start June 1.
