Age, if Living. All Right!
The census taking reminds one of a story which occurred ten years ago. On the printed forms were the words: Age of father (if living), age of mother (if living). One of the papers was returned with the startling information that the father was 120 years old and the mother 112. The authorities hastened to see this ancient pair, and were much surprised to hear that they had died long ago. “Then what do you mean by this?" said an angry official, pointing to the ages. “Why, that’s right enough.
