Get your wheels out of pawn, chappies. King Eddie has again taken up bike riding. Well, everybody will now eoncede that Grover is the greatest living Ex President in the country. Mrs. Albert Leaf, of Washington, has given birth to twins. This is an unmistakable sign of spring. Why doesn’t some real enterprising editor invite Boni to come over and edit his paper tor a week. Boni might be glad of the money. The Democrats are now declaring how much they Admire General Harrison. Times have changed since the old days of the so-called force bill. Poor ‘‘antis”. The Philippines are so quiet that they can’t find anything to grumble over and even Cuba seems about to accept the~protection offered to her and be good. Mr. Carnegie says that he always wanted to be a newspaper man. It’s lucky for him that overcame this yearning and became an ironmonger instead. Otherwise, he would have built no libraries. It might be a good idea to get the Chinese to estimate the value of those missionary sermons which were destroyed. and which their owners put down at SSOO apiece.
