The Kaiser in a Shiver.

Dread of assassination has unnerved many a chief of state, but the fearsome irritation now shown by the German emperor was hardly to be expected from a man of his heroic prfetensions. Even if the assault which has thrown him into chills and fever had been of a most sinister and dangerous character it would have been his part to maintain an appearance of self-poise and dignity, and considering the nature of the incident it should have been ignored entirely.
