Manila's Police Chief.
Capt. George F. Connelly, who woa fame as a commanding officer while in charge of Company H, Thirtieth Regiment Volunteers, is now fully installed in the position of captain of the Metropolitan police force of Manila. The force consists of three captains, nine lieutenants and 700 American patrolmen, all of whom are honorably discharged United States soldiers. They receive |75 every month for their services and are reported to be
