A sprightly comedy, “The Cooking School,” suitable for parlor production, is given, and the regular departments of “Crocheting,” Fancy Work,” “Book Notes,” “Home Decoration,” “Among Ourselves,” “The Kindergarten Hints,’in the Home.” “Eliquet'e “Nursery Lore,” “Household Advice” and “Cookery” are all most interesting and helpful. The farmers of Kosciusko Co. have formed an Organization for The protection of native birds. The members of the association pledge themselvea./o co operate in every possible way toward accomplishing this end. The study of bird life and the discussion of thi important, subject at their recent farmers’ Institute has led the farmers of that county to appreciate more fully than ever before the value of birds on the farm and to realize the necessity of preventing their destruction, if they wish to save their crops from being annihilated by insect ravages. A similar society ought to be organized in every county in the state.
