Is Constitutional.

The supreme court has decided the quail law constitutional, and anyone having quail in bis possession during the “closed season” is liable to a fine without regard to when the game was killed or when he obtained possession of it. The Union Pacific road makes the announcement that it will bear a part of the cost of the accident insurance policies taken out by its employes. The company will pay one-third of the premium on policies taken out by its employes. The company will pay one third of the premium on policies held by conductors, engineers, firemen, brakemen, and bridgeman and building carpenters; for other employes it will pay one-fourth, their positions being less hazardous.
