Alleged Brutal Husband Punished.

Arthur Oakes, who claims to be a son of Peter Oakes, a millionaire candy maker of St. Louis, was sentenced at Boston to serve six months’-' Imprisonment at Deer Island on a charge of assaulting his wife with a razor. It is alleged that Oakes attacked his wife, ofter locking her in a room and forcing her to sign a confession of having been unfaithful to him.
