Attempted to Wreck a Train.

A bold attempt was made to wreck the west-bound passenger train on the Milwaukee road near Darlington, Wis. A 600-pound rail had been placed across the track at the west end of the bridge crossing the Pecatbnica river. Had the rail been placed at the east end of the bridge it would have precipitated the tra ltotnih ETT cipitated the train into the river. As it was no harm was done. Four tramps are held on suspicion.
