Mrs. T. J. Brown of Rochester, N. Y., has just been informed that she is the legitimate heir of Amos Barkley, a London ship owner of vast wealth who died early in the century and for whose fortune, estimated at $10,000,000, there has 'been a bitter strife. Mrs. Brown is the wife of a day laborer and works hard to assist her husband.
