Dnelists Are Wounded.
In a duel, with rapiers at Paris M. Latapie, a Toulouse journalist, wounded M. Urbain Gohier, a leading writer for the Dreyfusard paper Aurore, slightly in the stomach. M. Gohier fought a duel with a son of General Meroier in October, 1890, in which both men were slightly wounded. M. Gohier Is ; the author, of the book “The Army Against the Nation,” which created a great outcry about two years ago.
Carnegie Gives to a College. President Benton has made public a letter received by him from Col. D. B. Henderson, speaker of the house, Washington, D. C., wherein the lattei announced that he had secured from Andrew Carnegie $25,000 for Upper lowa university.
