Portland Plans Fair for 1905.
At a Joint meeting of the Board of Trade and the Manufacturers’ Association at Portland, Ore., it was decided to hold a fair at Portland In 1905 to celebrate the first centennial of the arrival of Lewis and Clarke expedition In the territory of Oregon. A company will be incorporated at once with {300,000 capital and authority to issue fyonds in addition to the stock. The city of Portland and the state of OregocKwill be asked for financial aid.
