Will Give It a Rest.
Indianapolis Press. Harry Strohm of Kentland dashed into the Denison House corridor last night, and instantly several legislators turned pale with fear, recognizing in him the harbinger of an approaching storm over the Newton county seat. “Rest in peace,” said Strobm to several members, “for I am not here for that purpose. The Kentiand county seat matter will- not be brought before this legislature. It is reported that Fairbanks Bros., of Chicago, have recently purchased 3,600 acres of land in Newton and White counties, costing them in the neighborhood of §140,000.
