A NARROW ESCAPE.
Harry Kressler Has A Narrow Escape From Death. Harry Kressler, the popular young barber, had a narrow escape from a horrible death last Saturday. He was alone in the shop and while filling an electric cigar lighter with gasolene accidentally struck a spark, which instantly set fire to the gasolene and some of the liquid falling on his barber coat, for a moment he was enveloped in flames. He managed to get his coat oft, and the front door being open he kicked it and the bottle of gasolene out into the street. Harrv was somewhat scorched but was able to keep at work. The show case and floor frere also slightly damaged. This was an accident that nine times out of ten would have resulted fatally, but Harry’s presence of mind in getting rid of his burning coat saved his life, and the fact of the front door of the shop being open saved the building from burning.
