W 6 understand there is a project on foot for the erection of a foot-bridge across the Iroquois a short distance below the grist- : sni 11. This is a capital idea, as such abridge | is an absolutely necessary institution •. at “that place, in order that the lower part of i town may have free and easy access to the | sulphur springs, on the opposite bank, which jis very desirable through the summer. Ten •or fifteen dollars would erect a-bridge of this nature, and we understand that a subscription paper, for raising the means, will be •put in circulation this, or next week, and “we would commend it to our citizens and {hope they will donate freely, as it will be a (benefit and an ornament to our town.
