The Herald's Reveuge.
The New York herald is taking its revenge for the savage and scurrilous attack made by Mr. Pryor of Virginia on its editor, in a way that has the merit of being both novel and mean. It interpolates the regular telegraphic reports of the Congrcssionarproceedings with such phrases as this: “Roger A. Pryor, the dirty liar and c alunmatov of V irginia, did not speak,” repeated three or lour times in each column. Here are a couple of the interpolations extracted, from the lust issue of that paper. “Roger A. Pryor, the shameless liar ami calumnutor ot tho good Old Dominion, did not open his mouth. “Roger A. Pryor, the beastly liar and slanderer of the benign Mother of Presidents, didn’t suv n word ”
