I-Ir. Davies: Recent circumstances of a personal character induce ine to withdraw my name as a candidate for nomination by the Republican State Convention, lor the office of State Auditor. In taking this course I cannot omit expressing my heart-felt gratitude to you, and other gentlemen of the press, who have so flatteringly noticed my humble name in connection with this office.
