REPUBLICAN CLUB.
The young men of this place met, last evening, and organized a society to be known as the Young Men’s Republican Club of Jasper County, by electing the tollowing officers: President —Albert Guthridge. Secretary —R. S. Dtviggins. Treasurer. —l. N. S. Alter. Sergeant at Arms —Horace James. A cordial invitation is extended to till Republican young men throughout the county, who have enough patriotism in their soul to feel an interest in this Union’s safely and our nation's welfare. Come, friends ol freedom, and rally around the banner of libertv; there is a good work for you to do. The Club will again meet on Tuesday n -xt, February 7,-at half past six o’clock, at their rooms, directly opposite the Gazette office.
