COOK CONVICTED.
Captain Cook, the brother-in-law of Governor Willard, has been convicted. He handed in a written confession on trial covering twenty-five pages of foolscap,delft!ling his (connection with Captain Brown, and implicating Fred. Douglass and a Dr. Howe, of Boston, in the Harper’s Ferry conspiracy. All of the prisoners have now been tried except Stephens, who has been transferred to. the Federal authorities. Brown has been sentenced to be hung On the 2d day of December next, and the rest on the 16th of the same month.
