ANNOUNCEMENT OF CANDIDATES.

[Republicanprimary election, Aug. 11.] Recorder. Wo are authorized to announce C. W. Henkle as a candidate for Recorder, subject to the decision of the Republicans at their primary election Clerk. We are authorized to announce W- E. Moore as a candidate for Clerk, subject to the decision of the Republicans at their primary election, and that, if elected, he obligates himself to attend to the duties of the office in person. We are authorized to announce 11. I. Jackson as a candidate for Clerk, subject to the decision of the Republicans at their primary election. Auditor. We are authorized to announce T. A. Knox as a candidate for Auditor, subject to the decision of the Republicans at their primary election. We are authorized to announce D. T. Hal stead as a candidate for Auditor, subject to the decision of the Republicans at their primary election. Wc are authorized to announce Thomas Lamborn as a Candidate for Auditor, subject to tho decision of the Republicans at their primary election. As it has-been reported that Mr. Lamborn had withdrawn, he requests us to say that he will remain a candidate until the Republicans decide for themseljves. Wc are authorized to announce R. C; Fierce as a candidate for Auditor, subject to the decision of the Republican Convention. Mr. Editor: Please announce the name of S. A. Cha ftee, of Iroquois township, as a candidate for thdoffice of County Auditor, at the ei.sui. g election, and oblige many voters. Mr. Chaffee has all the qualifications necessary to fill the office with dignity and honor; enjoys an undisputed reputation for honesty, integrity; energy and! faithfulness in business. We take pleasure in presenting his name to the voters of Jasper county. Voters or Iroquois Township.
