Earthquake in Spain and Portugal.

The papers- by the Persia f urnish us wf tn the particulars ciyncerning the severe earthquake which was felt in Spain and Pcrtuga. on the 1 Ith ot November, and of whieii only a mere statement of their occurrence has been received by the previous arrivals. We abridge the following details: “The earthquake which was felt in ever, part of Spain, and was prtxltictive ot some damage in almost ever city in the South u‘ Spain, though only five deaths are reported, has been the cause of the expression of much religious feeling. At Seville, where it< e'sects were more sensible than in any other city, several public establishments having received considerable injury, processions have tak- n place with unusual religious i pomp, and the churches are diily visited by : thousands whose piety is stimulated withthei r-'lection that they may again experienlce; this aw'ul visitation. It appears that the ■ ear'hquake was so much felt in the principal I markets that all business imed ate-ly stopped and Im mireds threw themseb'e& upon ttieir khees to beg for the Divne mercy.
