Since tiie paper Jias been started, riot one-half of tiie subscription money has been paid up to this time. This is not right.' Did a delinquent ever think that it is easier for him to raise §1,50 to pay the printer, than it is for tiie printer to raise hundreds, frequently i;y borrowing at two per cent, a month, to print a paper on credit! If not, this is a good time to think of it. In consequence of our present great n.-ed of money, we make tiie following proposition to those who pay before Christmas:— Every‘subscriber owing for the first volume can settle.it for §2; and every one indebted for the present volume can settle it in tiie same time tor §1,50. This is a liberal offer, when inns rem. inhered that we have often—too otten—paid heavy interest for tiie use of- the irioney. Take heed of thia who will, it is the last appeal we shall rm.ke to a reading public; who ought to better, support their paper. r
