Cure For Hollow Horn.
T’he disease of cattle, known as “hollowhorn.” is causing an annual loss to be estimated by millions of dollars in this State alone. This disease is spinal, caused by the hide of the animal adhering to the bone or the back, and preventing circulation; and may be cured as follows: “Rub with the hands with as much force and friction as possible the hide of the animal on the back bone, from the tail to the horns, thereby restoring circulation. Every animal should be examined and subjected to this process every February and March, to prevent this disease.”
