The Grand Rapids Herald, commenting upon queer signs, quotes one painted upon her window blinds by Mrs. Marshall, a local laundress, as follows: No. I Mrs, Mar shall La undress All work punctually done Open at 7 o’clock See specimens in this window Mrs. Marshall was greatly surprised at the interest manifested by the large crowd that gathered before her residence early next morning; but her surprise was changed to chagrin, when upon going out she discovered that the left-hand blind had been closed by the wind, and the announcement on the other one was for the interested audience in at-- * tendance.
