With this issue the Democrat changes hands, Frank E. Babcock of Remington being the purchaser. | Mr. Babcock is a practical newspaper man and will no doubt give us a paper that the Democratic party as an organization can heartily endorse. He has been for some years past the owner and editor of the Remington Press and has made many friends in the southern part of the county. In politics Mr. Babcock is a thorough Democrat and will conduct the paper along the same line politically as the present editor has. We will ask of our friends to give Mr. Babcock the same cordial and hearty support that has been accorded us. D. W. Shields, Editor.
