Graduating Exercises at Independence Chapel.
Gillam township’s graduating exercises were held at Independence Chapel Saturday evening and were exceedingly interesting. The graduates were five in number, their names ami subjects being as follows: .. . The program which was quite an extended one was intersperced with songs, declamations, and band music. The diplomas were presented by County Superintendent Hamilton. About fifty rolls honor were distributed to the pupils of the township, and also eight silver stars, these latter being won by Ray Phillips, Zora Tillett. Hazel Parker Jessie Parker, Lucy Swisher. Guy Faris, Effie Bisher and Roy Robinson.
