At Rest.

Mrs. Cynthia German died at the homo of her daughter, Mrs. Hester Grayson, near this city last Friday. Her age was 73 years, 9 months and 26 days. She has been a resident of this county for 55 years. At the age of 20, she married William Davison, who died in 1857. Two years later she married Joshua German who died in the army. She left two children living, Mrs. Anna Tuttle, of New York and James German of Paris, Tennessee, Mrs. Tuttle arrived here after her death but before her funeral, while Mr. German did not arrive until Monday after the funeral on Saturday. The deceased was a sister of John L. and S. W. Nichols of Barkley township and Mrs. Elizabeth Brown of this city. The funeral was held at the Barkldy M. E_. church and interment at Smith cemetery. Rev. Middleton conducted the funeral ceremonies.
