There was -a dance at Mr. Hain's Saturday night. Pearl Davis and Frand Black visited the Misses Rife Sunday eve. :• George Levereau and sister Lucy, are vising in Kankakee, Ills. ’T. M. Callahan attended the Forrester's entertainment at Rensselaer Thursday night. Miss Elsie Levereau was the guest of Emma Davis Saturday. Eva Meitzler and Orla Hewitt did shopping in Rensselaer Friday. Miss McDannill visited Mrs. Callahan Friday. Ada Rife of Kansas, is visiting her parents a few weeks. Mr. Sites gave his first lesson in singing at North Lawn Sunday. He has »cl ass of thirty. Frank Parker had the misfortune to run two nails in his foot in one day. He is pretty lame but is getting along nicely. One thing sure, the people on the marsh don’t lose any time this wet weather when it is too wet to plow corn, they can go to the onion patch and pull weeds.
