Cheyenne Indians iu Oklahoma are engaged in n ghost dance, Mrs. J. N. Burton, of Canton, Ohio, committed suicide by shooting, at Atlantic City, N. J. Lightning struck the factory of the Enterprise Manufacturing Company at Akron, Ohio, causing n tire that destroyed the buildings. Loss, $75,000; insurance, $45,000. Gen. Lew Wallace has formally withdrawn from the rase for United States Senator for Indiana, uud announces that he will enter the army and tight for Cuban independence. From Egypt come reports of the discovery at Thebes of the tombs of Ainenophis 11., who reigned B. C. 1500, of Thotmes IV., of Auiehophis 111. and the ltameses IV., V. uud VI. All the bodies are said to be in a splendid state of preservation. There M-as a serious disturbance at Malaga. Spain, resulting iu au attack upon the United States consulate. Stones were thrown and one of the mob leaders procured a ladder, tore doun the shield having upin it the urms of the United States and dragged it along the streets. In a box cor of a ’Frisco freight train arriving at Springfield, Mo., were found two dead men, one of Whom had keen ahot in. the breast and the .piker in the side.
