The new wrought iron bridge, across tho Misslssirrewa River at this place, has jut been completed, and we are pleased to say that it is a substantial structure, and a work of great beauty. It is built of wrought Iron, upon Z. King's patent, and was erected by W. NVinslow, who is sole agent for tho .Stato of Indiana. The entire length of the bridge is 17,j1 f.-ct in two spans each H7 fert t inches and is 1" feet wide. The bridge rests upon two abutments and a center pier, cajh 17 feet high, and tho three contain CJ'J perch of stone, and laid in ."WO bushels of liuio and twenty barrel of good water-cement. Tho abutment' were built under the supcrlntendane; of Messrs. J. R. McKinny fc I. Rargcr, who have labored to have a permanent structure for many generations to come. Tlie total expense f the entire supertrcturo will reach nearly $7,U.. The bridge, as completed, Is the best ever put up in Randolph county. Mr. Winslow, in fulUlllng his contract, lid hts utmost to give us a bridgo which should not only prove enduring, but also creditable to himelfand tlio'coiinty.
