VERY IMPORTANT FROM EUROPE. Our foreign advices are big with importance to Spain, to France, to England, to Europe. Not since the second French revolution, now almost five years old, has the political horizon worn an aspect so threatening as at this critical, this important conjuncture of affairs.
The bowlings of the tempest of another gene
ral war in Lurope seem to us again to be
heard in anticipation, of a tempest loo. a
rising from a quarter from which none of the
most attentive and sagacious observers of
passing events seem to have dreaded it,
Irom fcpain, unhappy Spain, the almost ruined victim of intestine wars. The news from abroad, informs us that the regular constitutional government of Spain, after combating, as it has been doing for some time past, the rebellion but loo formidably organized by

treaty is required, the active cooperation of
the high contracting parties to that treaty, is
loudly called tor. I'o L ranee and England the Spanish government looks up for assistance, for support, for preservation. Not less than fifty thousand foreign soldiers will be needed , according to the opinions of certain London politicians, to prevent the queen's
expulsion from Spain . These succors, ample as they may be, are granted. Spain and her allies then find themselves upon the other horn of the dilemma: a general war is the immediate consequence. Russia, Austria, and Prussia are banded in support of arbitrary power, bearing the softer name of legitimacy. France and England unfurl the banner of liberty. The shock will be mighty, the struggle long; but can the result be doubted? Victory must declare for those who contend for
free government. The money markets, both of France and England, were a good deal agitated in consequence of the awful stale of affairs in Spain, and the dread felt of a si ill more awful condition of things throughout Europe generally. The meeting of the two great monarchs of Russia and Prussia, at the intended camp of
Silesia, portends evil perhaps to Europe, es
pecially if a reverse of fortune should befall Don Carlos, from the active and energetic interposition of France and England, in fulfil
ment of the treaty of quadruple alliance .- Baltimore Gazette.
The Apalachicola (Florida) paper, of the 15th June, informs us that the citizens of that place have all, without a single exception, resolved to abandon it en masse, and remnvA
