DcerfieM is seven miles North of Winchester, and has a good steam louring mill, one dry gools store, one grocery, one woolen factory, cabinet, black-mith, wagon, and harness shops. The draft occupies tho attention of the larger portion of our people, and serves as a good topic for gov,ip. Cintc a number of our neighbors have gone on visits to their relatives across the lakes, and some others are keeping one eye open in that direction, if the draft takes place.
