Men and ollicers are continually deserting. The Hssatisfaction h very great. Senator Footc forsook the desperate cause some weeks ago. Now we ncc it stated that the rebel General Roddy, a successful cavalry leader, has deserted the rattle snake Hag, and is now within the Union lines. Another great Union victory or two, and the Confederacy, like a great and terriflc land-slide, carrying every thing before it, with her rebel leaders, will be plunged low down into the depths of public infam. m m i:.-si:..Toi: rswirv.
