A curious and a rare Fpecimcn for this country, of the Rtone kind, is on exhibition at the Clerk's ollice. It was found in the river which runs through J. 1. Goodrich's farm. It was incased in a shell of soft stone. It is nearly round, with grooves or ridges running round it; it weighs thirty-five pounds. Such specimens arc not uncommon in the Huron river, but how this one found its wav to this part of the country, h a question that we would like to have answered. The revival meeting at the M. K. church is still in progress and still the pe ople flock to church. Not only the house but the altar is crowded. Many of the Sundv School scholars have professed religion and others of them still come to ask the prayers of the church. People from the country for many miles round are in attendance every night. If it continues to increase it may yet be equal to the great revival of the winter of 1 Ö7. A 1'i.KASAvr Si vvr.n kt. The little folk's supper on Tucsda night for sanitary purposes was a derided success. We confess ourselves very pleasantly disappointed. The receipts after paving all expenses are nearly one hundred dollars. And then there was served up in the fin est style a good healthy supply of fun whieh every body presout enjoy ed. The little folks (assisted by the big folks) made a comfortable amount of noise, but that is what they ire in the world for, when they are little, we mean, of course. The ice cream, cakt s, tVc, were food, and that large splendid cake that found its way into our sanctum was superexcellent. - - - .
