Last Saturday afternoon Plymouth was visited by one of the severest thunder storms ever witnessed in this section. The storm commenced at 1:30 p. m. and lasted about an hour. For twenty or thirty minutes the thunder was almost continuous, and the vivid flashes of lightning denoted too close a proximity of electric matter for comfort. Several telegraph poles shattered, a few trees struck, and a couple of horses stunned, are all the results of the storm so far as heard from. ———<>———
