The St. Joseph Presbytery met at the Presbyterian church, at 1 o'clock, 1 on xusuay. 10 reuress certain evus m I ii 3 i- :i'fi in the church at thib place. Rev.'s McCord, of Mishawaka, moderator ; Ward, of Michigan City, secretary, and Fowler, of Elkhart, were present. The

moderator stated the object ot the meeting to be the peaceful adjustment of certain difficulties which had sprung up in the church, aud that the Presbytery was dot acting in a judicial capacity. To facilitate business, it was decided that one person from each of the disputing parties shoul 1 be selected to present the matters of difference to the Presbytery. Mr. John L Wcstervolt then , on behalf of the minority, prei n j member" of the ebureh, praying that the pastoral relation of Mr. Conpin to congregation might be dissolved, nnd followed with a long array of the reasons which, he said, governed him in his action.
