It is much to be regretted that these entertainments were not more generally attended, as Prof. Owen rot only j proved himself t be a thorough waiter of the art of working in glass, but his lectures 'and explanations were highly inter-1 esting. The numerous specimens of his work which he distributed amoog his audiences were very ornamental, and in some instances, of cousidorablc utility.
