A rain coming up shortened the exercises and prevented them from being as interesting as they would otherwise have been. About 1 o'clock some of the boj-s organized a procesirn of individuals dressed up in "fantastic riirs," headed by the Brass Band, after marcliins: thiough the principal trcets were halted on the public square, when the Decla ration of Independence was read, three cheers given for the Band, after which the procesision disbanded. This concluded the day's celebrating.
