' , A Delightful Bcv rage. Many attempts have been made, with only partial .success, to prevent cider from becoruiDg hard after it has loon Vpt a few months. In the early stages ol "orientation, and before it has fermented at all, it is a delightful beverage and a process by which fermentation can be arrested at any desired point is a d'sici rattan entitling the discoverer to the thanks of the public. Such a process hns been fouud by Mr. Win. Chamberlain, of Albion, N. Y.f who has been experimenting with cider for sevenil years past for the purpose of attaining that object, and we thiek he has succeeded admirably, judging from some samples of cider prepared by him last fall which we have had the pleasure of tasting. I is not insipid, like cider fresh from the press, but is bright, sparkling and piquant. Rochtster Democrat.
