Califcrnia Johnson is still roving about the eountrv making abolition harangues.
We understand that he was at the Chicago C anvention pretending to be a nbid peace i democrat, and delegate from California, but was kicked out of democratic associa tions there, "which may perhaps account for his ungentlemanly and bitter denunciations of democrats ever since that time. The epying business did'nt pay well at that convention. Don't forget the meeting at Bourbon to-morrow. Our friends there arc making a gallant fight. Success to the working democracy of ourbon township. The democracy of Fulton County had a grand time last Saturday at Kochester. The meeting was altogether the largest ever assembled in the eounty. There were 501 teams in procession, fifty ladies and about three hundred gentle::en on horseback. Flags, banners and devices almost innumerable were carried ii the procesjEiou. Hon. T. A. Hendricks spoke to as many cf the vast assemblage as could hear him, and the enthusiasm for Little Mac, and the cauie of true democracy was unbounded.
