We call attention to the advertisement of the Ladies' Fair, to be held at Corhin's Hall next week, for the benefit of Orphans and disabled Soldiers. The object is one truly laudable and should receive the encouraprcmcnt of all who are the friends of those for whose benefit it is to be held. The Indies of Indianapolis are volunteering to t.ikc the place of clerks who are en listing in the one hundred days service. Enough, it is stated, have offered their services, to supply the demand, with a surplus a a reserve corps. A heavy snow storm prevailed over Indianapolis on Monday last, extending as far south as the Ohio River. The Ladies' Fair, held last week at "Woodward's Hall for the benefit of the Catholic Church and School in this place, ras very well attended considering the state of the weather. We have not becu informed of the amount of the proceeds, bet think it was fully as large as was anticipated. Every thing went off nicely, and Icv. Volkert und the lilies of his congregation deserve praise for their energy and persevering labors in preparing: for, and conducting the fair. The Mill of J.
