Wc learn that it is iu contemplation to construct a new line of rail road iu Northern Indiana, running south westwardly froni (Jo5hen in Kikhart County, through Mtrshall, Starke, Jasper, and Newton Counties in this State, and Iroquois County in Illinois, to Gilman Station at the junction of the Illinois Central aod the Logaosport, Peoria and Turlington rail roads. The proposed name for tha road is "Great Southwestern." Wc understand that Grovertown, at,.i Knox in Starke County, are to be points on tho lino of this road. If so, it would pass a few luilcsWest of Plymouth. Now if wc arc to have another rail t"road through this County we re decidedly in favor of making Pljmouth a point, and believe that it will be the interest of the new Company as well as of the citizens of the county generally to do so. The people of Starke county arc alire to their interests in this matter, and have already been holding meetings and taking actirertcpa to secure the earby commencement of the work.
