X: AN APERIENT AND STOMACH PREP aration of Iron, purified of O.xvgen and Carbon by combustion of Hydrogen sanctioned by the highest medical authorities, botli in Europe and the United State, and prescribed in their practice. The experience of thousands daily proves that no preparation of Iron can be compared w ith it. Impurities of the blood, depression of vital energy, pale and otherwise sickly complexion indicate its necessity in Iniost every conceivable case. Innoxious in all maladies in which it has been tried, it has proved absolutely curative in each of the following complaints, viz : In Debility, Nervous Affections, Emaciation, Dyspepsia, Constipation, Diarrhea, Dysentery, Incipient Consumption, Scrofulous Tuberculosis, Salt Rheum, Mismenstruation, Whites Chlorosis, Liver Complaints, Chronic Headaches, Rheumatism, Intermittent Fevers, Pimples on on tbe Face, kc. Incases of (teneral Del Hit-, whether the result of acute diseases or of the continued diminution of nervous and muscular energy from chronic complaints, one trial of this restorative has proved successful to an extent which no description or written attestation w ould render credible. Invalids so long bed-ridden as to have very nearly Itecome entirely forgotten in their own neighborhood, h:tvo suddenly re-appeared in the busy world, a if just returned from protracted travel iii ä distant land. Some very signal instances of thii kind are attested of female sufferers, emaciated victims of apparent tnaramiis. sanguineous exhaustion, critical changes, and their complication of nervous and dyspe tie aversion to air and exercises for which the physician has no name. In nervous affections of all kinds, and for reasons familiar to medical men, tin? operation of this ' preparation of Iron must neeessari.y be nalutarv, for, unlike the old oxides, it is vigorously touic, without being exciting or over-heating ; and gently, regularly aperient, even in the most obstinate cases of costiveness, without cvenbving a gastric purgative, orinflict:nga disagreeable sensation. It is this latter propriety, among others, w hich makes it so remarkably effectual and permanent a remedy for Piles, upon which it also apjcars to exert a distinct and snceific action, by dispersing the locai tendency w hich forms them. In Dyspepsia, innumerable as are its cause, a single box of these Chahbeate Pills has often suflicei: for the most habitual cades, including the attendant costiveness. In unchecked Diarrhea, even when advanced to Dysentery, confirmed, emaciating, and apparently malignant, the effects have been equally decisive and astorishing. In the Iocai pains, loss of flesh, and strength, debilitating cough, and remittent hectic, which, generally indicates incipient consumption, this remedy has allayed the alarm of friends aud physi cians in several very gratifying and interesting I
instances. In Scrofulous Tuberculosis, this medicated iron has had far more than the good effect of most cautiously balanced preparation of Iodine, without any of their well known liabilities. The attention of fern ties can not he too confidently invited to this remedy and restorative, in the ease peculiarly n fleeting them. In Rheumatism, both chronic ami inflammatory in the latter however, more decidedly it has been invariably well reported, both as alleviating pain and reducing the swellings an 1 stillness of the joints anl innsc-K. In intermittent Fi vers it must necessarily he a preat remedy and energetic restorative, and its progress in the new xettlcniciits of the West, will prob ibly he one of high renown ami usefulness. No remedy has ever been discovered in the whole history of iimmIk in, whicti vxcrts hucIi prompt, happy nnd full f restorative eflVcfs. flood appetite, complete digestion, rapid acquisition of strength, with an unusual disposition for acute aud cheerful exercise, immediately follows its use Put up in neat flat metal boxes containing fifty pills, price ;0 cents per box ; for aale by druggists and dealers.
